CM - Peaches and Daisies
The sun shone high above the castle courtyard in the Mushroom Kingdom’s capital city. Within the walls of the white brick fortress, surrounded by spear-wielding Toads and red slate towers, the courtyard stood as a natural expanse of well-gardened grass and flowers, with trees in its corners and bushes dotted throughout along a stone path. It served as a beautiful escape to the outside world, a way to ‘touch grass,’ if you will, that still offered protection from outside threats like the evil King Bowser, or the nightmarish King Boo. And in the middle of the courtyard, dead-center in the circle of bricks that united the many winding paths throughout the garden, which itself was framed by several tall bushes on all sides, stood Princess Daisy of the Kingdom of Sarasaland.
